About HOA

What

The Humans of Oando Awards (HOA) is an annual ceremony that celebrates the uniqueness and diversity of employees in relation to the company’s shared values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Passion and Professionalism (TRIPP).

With 11 award categories to recognize individuals and teams for their outstanding performance, employees are given the opportunity to vote and celebrate winners.

Why

• Acknowledge and recognize outstanding employees / teams.
• Promote a culture of appreciation within the company.
• Showcase Oando as a great place to work.

 How

Employees are to vote in a two-stage voting process for their preferred candidate in each category, thereafter the votes are collated and vetted by the Award Committee.

Stage 1 – Nomination:

• Nominate your preferred candidate from the employee list.
• The top 5 nominees per category will be announced 3 weeks after the nomination deadline.

Stage 2 – Voting:

• You are to vote for your preferred winner from the top 5 nominees.
• The employee with the highest number of votes per category will be announced as the winner after voting deadline.

• Only employees of Oando are eligible to vote.
